highlights / things that i’m thankful for today:
– super blessed by today’s message at church on HOPE

– my japanese friend came to church! he’d been interested in church and bstudy for a while, and he finally decided to come out today!
– got to talk briefly with Helen-Melen’s sister, Kae! omg they are the cutest twins ever!!!!
– got to “study” with the awesome junior class sisters =)

– so many good quotes from Charmaine, the accounting TA! (only Sab&Esther will get this… :P)
– korean bbq with sisters i dearly love ❤
– random phone call from a high school friend! hopefully i can do a better job keeping in touch this semester 🙂
– chatted with my oppa (Paul) and gege (Mike Thai)! i got really excited because both of them initiated the conversation separately! my brothers are very shy to show their affection (except for the youngest :P)
– reminded me of all the good times on V-SET again… so i felt convicted to pray for baba (Daniel) who’s in Singapore. prayed for him for a lifetime partner =) hehe

and the whole grammar behind "i wish i were" thing is called the past subjunctive mood in case you're curious. but i heard the subjunctive is kind of dying out in modern english.. oh no!! (i feel super nerdy for knowing this. *shrug*)

when you are doing a thought experiment in your sentence, like say in “if i were…”, “supposing i were…”, “i wish i were…” the “subjunctive” mood (just learned that word from the other post) says to use were. ho ho!

well, what made me wanna pray for that specifically was when i saw Faith & Jeff together here. they were so cute together! so it made me wanna see my baba with a suitable partner too hehe 😉
